LDR-F safety device

Product customisation is a key challenge for Eurocardan, enabling us to achieve ever more advanced goals.

One of our latest requests was to create a safety device to be installed on a snow blower with extremely advanced technical features.

After a careful development phase of the specifications defined by the customer, we produced the LDR-F safety device designed and developed to protect the machine when the torque transmitted overcomes the limit of 8000 Nm, when the transmitted torque exceeds the set limit of 8000 Nm, for example when one of the “cutting drums” stops rotating due to large accumulations of ice or other material. The device is characterised by in-phase re-engagement (available in single re-engagement or four re-engagements per revolution).

Being a product designed for heavy-duty applications, it has been equipped with double bearings to withstand the most extreme loads with no need for greasing or further maintenance (long life durability).

Finally, in order to adapt to the specific features of agricultural applications, the input and output connection interfaces and locking systems can be fully customised.
